Photorealistic retouching involves artistry, accuracy and consistency. Textures, colors, lighting and shadows must all be taken into consideration in order to seamlessly create, re-create or repair an image. Technology has come along way but it hasn’t replaced the skill of an experienced retouching artist. Well, not yet anyway ; )
